Living on a farm near Axminster, Lisa is a very creative person who has spent her whole life making things. She is lucky enough to spend most of her time creating colourful work in a variety of media or organising art/craft fairs showcasing her work alongside other local talented artists and artisans.
She paints, draws, designs and makes: stained glass suncatchers, panels and mirrors; jewellery with glass beads (and soon her own handmade beads); hand-knitted scarves using designer yarns and cards using colourful material which she embellishes.
A customer commented “The nice thing about Lisa’s work is that it is so unusual, unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere else”.
Her website www.Lisas-Gifts.co.uk includes a shop which is full of gifts to suit all tastes and price ranges. Her creations are all unique so you won’t find someone else with the same item. Her glass kite suncatchers have proved a popular item at the Ilminster Arts Centre Craft Shop for several years, especially the ones incorporating ammonites found on a local farm.
