Mike has been present on the UK traditional jazz scene for a great many years, originally with Alex Welsh, and latterly with Chris Barber, along with many others in between. During this time he has worked with a number of the World's finest reed players including "Peanuts" Hucko, Bud Freeman, Buddy Tate, Bob Wilbur and Kenny Davern.
